❥ Who we are
Shuttlecats is an LGBTQI+ social badminton club for adults located in Melbourne Australia. We run weekly sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Our club exists to provide a safe space for women, LGBTQI+, and gender diverse people living in Naarm (Melbourne) to play one of the world’s most fun sports: Badminton! Come join us for some games at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre! All skill and ability levels are welcome!

Every Tuesday night from 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Every Second Saturday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm
All events are subject to public holidays/MSAC closures so keep an eye on our socials for updates!

Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) 30 Aughtie Drive, Albert Park, VIC 3206, Melbourne
Paid parking available onsite at MSAC - free parking available in the surrounding suburb.

Member Fee: $10 | Guest Fee: $15

❥ What is it like playing badminton at Shuttlecats?
All skill and ability levels are welcome! If you're a returning player or completely new to the game we've got you covered! Our fantastic Coach Abbie is on site to get you up to speed. Whether you're starting off with learning the rules of the game, or looking to improve on your technique, our coach can provide tips, tricks, and exercises during sessions.
We have Organisers on the day who you can find by the whiteboard in the right hand corner of Stadium 4, so come say hi, and we’ll get you started with some games! We also have a couple of spare rackets available at each session. For any further questions, please drop us a line on our on any of our social channels!
